Hello,
Today we received new work terminals where I work ( a Large bookstore chain in Canada) and we are so limited that we can't view any websites or even use windows media player. The terminals are provided by a company called Neowave. Now the area where we work has the same terminals as the sales floor staff but they get an address bar when they open up a SAP application, but on our's, there is no address bar and the option to view it is greyed out. I tried to reboot and see if I could pull up my portable firefox from my usb drive, but I got no window or anything indicating that it found the usb drive. So far we can only use what apps are on the desktop and we cannot even get into any windows explorer windows at all, so no my computer, my documents or anything. What we did with the old pc's was ,we'd hit the windows key and double click on a folder that housed the programs and typed out urls into that window's filepath bar. This time when we bring up the start bar we only see "windows security" and "log off" . I managed to get to a screen that said terminal options but they are all blocked with a password. Any ideas on how I could get around these restrictions and view the web or at least be able to find wmp and make a shortcut of it on our desktops?

I suppose you are willing to risk being fired? They are locked down like that for a reason.

I think you are on the wrong forum. Check out a hacking forum.
