I am using fraps to film my gameplay while playing Star Wars Galaxies on my dell. Then i transfer the futage i have to my Mac to be edited in Final Cut Express HD, but when its in Final Cut there is no video or sond. The fraps uses a wierd CODEC. So what can i do, without having to convert the futage?

As there is no Fraps FPS1 codec for QuickTime (that I'm aware of), you have no choice but to convert.
Mplayer and ffmpeg list the ability to decode Fraps FPS1, so you could try Mac converting programs that use those tools for decoding.
