Hi guys...
Well, I wasn't planning on getting a new TV tuner, but my old computer died and I had to buy a new one a few months ago. I was using Hauppauge PVR USB2, but when I tried setting it up on this OS, device manager said the device had malfunctioned and it didn't recognize it. Several different attempts and help from a friend to get it working couldn't fix it.
I'm looking for something Vista compatible, that I can use to record digital cable and VHS to my hard drive and occasionally edit and/or burn to DVD. I'm hesitant about using Hauppauge again, but it sounds like their latest 1600 model could be my best bet and within my price range. Any advice or other recommendations?
