    hello

    i have been using virtualdubmod for several weeks now witrh the huffyuv codec it has been working superbly.then the other day when i clicked on huffuv in the compression window it came up with an error mesage.

    The instruction at "0x01901374" referenced memory at '"x00000004".The memory could not be "read".Click on OK to terminate the program

    then the program shuts down

    can anybody help :(

    I've never had VDM crash in that way with several years of use. I also have HuffyUV installed. I suspect something has corrupted either VDM or the HuffyUV codec. I would reinstall both. If that doesn't help, you may have something else running on the computer that is causing a conflict. It could also be other codecs that were installed, or a virus or trojan.

    But try it with a different video file first. The video file you are using may be causing the crash.

    VD mod hasn't been updated since 2003, so most problems have been thrashed out long ago.

    i reinstalled both virtualdubmod and huffyuv with no luck.I also noticed that even when selecting a different file when i click on the compression window it pauses for a few seconds which it has never done before.I also have the msu lossless codec installed when i select that it work fine. :?:
