    Hi folks,

I'm sorry the title of this thread is a bit vague, but I'll try to give you as much info as I can on here:

I've got a sony DCR-SR37 hard drive camera. I recently went on a road trip and filmed around 200 movies clips on this camera, yet my computer will only import araound thirty of them! It gets to the same place every time then just stops. Some import programs just stop, some send a message saying that the movie cannot be located, yet they are all really annoying me.
To see if these movies were lost completely, I sat through them on the camera, and they all play with no issues. Please help me, or all the work i have done will be for nothing.

    Feel free to ask questions.

    Si

I can't think of a reason for the USB transfer to stop mid way.

If necessary you can analog capture from a camcorder playback.

Do you have any error messages pop up on you when you're transferring your files, perhaps the ever-so annoying "The I/O operation has been aborted because of either a thread exit or an aplication request"? Do you have more than one computer that you can access, and if so, have you tried transferring files over with them?

Lastly, are you trying to copy over all 200 clips at once? It sounds to me like your camcorder's USB can only take so much before it gives out, or either it could possibly be your camcorder going into hibernate mode if that's applicable.
