DVD Shrink Burning

When i had Windows 2000 DVD Shrink worked Fine. Now That I Am Running XP Home Edition I Can Not Copy Anything With DVD Shrink. It will Start Writing Leads in and Maybe go to 1% Before it aborts???
Any Help Out There????

DVD shrink doesn't burn, it uses third party burners - Nero, DVD Decrypter etc to burn.

What do you have set up as your burning engine ?
Do you have problems burning outside of Shrink ?

If you are using Nero, Shrink has issues with some versions.

Well,
seeing as DVD Shrink does not burn,
it has either nero burn the resulting files or makes an ISO then instructs DVD Decrypter to burn the resulting ISO.

So i'd maybe start with your burning software, the version, do they burn alright on their own, ect.

I am using NERO OEM 6.3.0.2
I Had NERO 7 Installed But Thought going to an earlier Version Might have solved it. I Am still at a Loss.
When I Had Wiondows 2000 I Had NO Problems at all.

I have also tried dirrerent combos DVD Shrink, DVD Decryptor, DVDFAB, RipItForMe. Nothing seems to Work????

Does nero or DVD Decrypter burn outside of Shrink ?

I have used shrink on win2000 and here on this PC with XP

I never burn from the ripper software

I have shrink or ripit4me creat the DVD folders

then I use which ever burn program I fell like using , to burn the files to the DVD

I have used nero and NTI and now i'm learning 'imgburn'

I have made DVD's using data disc, just drag &drop the video_ts folder

I always 'proof' my dvd files in folder on the PC ( with my player software ) before burning, cuts down on the coasters, this way I can check the finished product, brightness, aspect ratio, clarity, sound sync

There is a version of Shrink that has been modified to use Imgburn as the burning engine. As with decrypter, it outputs an ISO, then uses Imgburn to burn the disc.
