  1. Is there any way i can play a dvd on my pc without having a computer dvd player (DVD-R/RW)?

    well... first off, next time search the forums, before posting this...
    But! no you can not play a DVD on any computer with out a proper DVD-ROM, or DVD-R(W){RAM} drive. This is only because normal cds info is written farther apart than dvd info, which is closer togther. Only dvd lasers can pick this up, and cd laser can not

  4. Actually you can if you have a standalone player, and just put the composites to your video card and audio card(if your video card and audio card have them). This is probably a stupid reply because if you don't have a dvd-rom, then the odds are you don't have a video card with composite or s-video inputs!!
