Can anyone recommend a program that I can use to allow me to watch a whole series that I have downloaded.I would like to watch these in the comfort of living room and use my tv and DVD player/recorder, Liteon 5054, without having to convert each individual episode into a single DVD using ConvertXtoDVD. The amount of time it will take to do each episode would be too labour intensive. Most series are 20-24 episodes, taking say 2 hours per disk. thats a weeks work.
I have tried converting them to VCD but most convert larger that 700mb. Either I am doing them wrong or ther is a flaw in my software Nero 7 Premium.
Any suggestions would be graciously received.

TBH I don't understand what you really want, you say you want to watch on your Liteon but you don't want to convert? AFAIK your Liteon doesn't play AVI files so you have two choices - buy a cheapo DVD player that can play AVI or convert to DVD.
He's a liar and a murderer, and I say that with all due respect.

  4. AutoGK makes AVI, not VCD. He should take steveryan's advice and buy himself a DVD/MPEG-4 player so he doesn't have to do any work, which is what he seems to want.

Sorry I kind of misled everyone.
I have lots of series on my computer that I would prefer to match from my armchair.
Yes, I do have the Liteon DvD player that was correctly pointed out that doesn't play AvI Files.
All I want to do is find a program that works a bit like nero does when you create an audio CD. Drag and drop your MP3s and it converts the files and you then burn a CD.
I want to sort of do the same but with AVI's and DivX files.
My apologies to all. I always end up giving inediquate information when I post on forums, my brain isn't really wired properly to explain myself clearly, sorry.
In total I have about forty series of stuff that I do watch over and over. I've tried to FTP an Xbox 1 but failed even doing that.

Once you move off an app like ConvertXtoDVD (nice & easy & fairly fast) and try another way...
you have to "put-in-the-work" so to speak...and that is even more labor/time intensive,
depending on the qual of your avi.

That being said (with the sound of your posts)
I'm with the others here...Get a Divx player, some are reasonably price now.

Why are you limited by one episode per DVD? ConvertXtoDVD can import more than one so you can put more than one per DVD. If they are 40-45 min per episode for good quality put like 4 per DVD. Or if you don't care much about quality put more. Looking at your PC specs, you should be able to put a whole season within a day
