non-permanent subtitles to DVD created from AVI files (with chapters/menu).

Hey guys,as you can see im new here looking for a little help.I was first looking at various guides here to see if anything looked like what i wanted to attempt to do but i didnt see anything or maybe i misunderstood it.

Here is what i would like to do.Currently i use "Nero Vision" for making DVD's with menu's,chapters and so on which works perfectly.Now i wanted to be able to add a subtitle menu to these movies which i then want to burn to DVD-R.The video files are AVI (Xvid) and some are DivX.So basically i was hoping to find a way to either do this with the program i have or find an alternate program that can add subtitles but also create menu's and chapters as well.

Hope i explained that correctly and not to confusing.Any help would be great.Thanks for the time 8)

Nerovision doesn't support any switchable subtitles. Use instead latest tmpgenc dvd author 3 or if you don't need that advanced menus you can use dvd flick, convertxtodvd.

@solomon13 that looks like a way to add permanent subtitles to the movie right?I was looking for a way to make ones which can be turned on or off by using a menu item (like original DVD's) or by using the subtitle key on DVD player remote.

@baldrick thanks i will check those out.I was looking at a program called DVDlab pro2 which looks like it might have what i want to do.Does anyone have any expierience with this program?
