  1. Hi,
I am using Avermedia EZcapture card.
I have installed virtual dub and huffyuv codec.
I am unable to see any other format under VIDEO>FORMAT besides RGB15, 24 and RGBA32.
And also under VIDEO>COMPRESSION I can't find the huffyuv2 codec.
    I wonder y.

and when capturing AVI using PICvideo codec, capturing of 60 sec I get frame dropped about 150......does over clocking my CPU to higer speed gives me a lesser frame drop? ( I am using AMD K6-2 350 and I am not an OC user)

    Pls help...thanks

  2. I think your computer is way too slow for capturing sorry.
Upgrade your computer, get some more RAM and a faster CPU.
I am on Pentium 3 - 450 with 256mb of SDRAM and I can only just get decent captures done. And Pentiums are built better for video than AMDs.

Also if your computer cant handle Pic Video huffuyv will be out of the question.

YES, I do agree with cybermage26 that the processor speed is too slow. I did experienced AMD K6-2 350 on 350 Mhz processor speed.

The video card was transferred to another computer, an Intel Celeron processor, 1.1Ghz. I now don't have any more problems with it and is doing beautifully recording from the TV or from any video source.

However, I don't agree with this "Pentiums are built better for video than AMDs". It doesn't matter what kind of processor is used as long as the processor speed is as fast as possible. 800Mhz more is recommended. 1Ghz is even better for video capturing.
