I think that I should know how to do this correctly but I seem to be running into a mental block:
I have a 2minute video clip that I need to raise the volume of the audio quite a bit.
I have tried to use Womble VCR to demux the streams and then use it's audio editor to save out with a volume increase. the +12db it offers is fine and seems to work in preview but when I remux it the volume is the same as it was.
Super works to convert the mpg2 to mpg2 and increase the volume, the quality of the video suffers little for my purpose but the program truncates 45 seconds from the whole clip (grrr).
Nero Wave editor won't import the .mpa audio file. Which I thought I would then remux with womble.
Any suggestions?
Quicker is better as I have several clips to adjust.
Thanks.

Never mind I answered my own question.
I was trying to use Nero Wave Editor (which I kind of like) to adjust volume, I forgot that I have Audacity installed and that is able to import the .mpa file from Womble. From there I made my changes in Audacity, resaved as .mp2 and used Womble to remux and resave again.
More steps than I would like but quick and effective.
Thanks for reading.
