This is a Sanyo HD1 720p High Def camcorder. Is there any DVD player where I can copy a recording from this camera directly to a DVD without any transcoding and have it play AT its native 720p via Component cables ? and also output the Video via normal Composite cables for those that do not have HD TV's ?

Do a search on this site under DVD players. Limit the search to DivX-HD/Xvid-HD. Or google. I think that you need to convert the MP4 to Avi first. Use MP4cam2Avi (also on this site under TOOLS). Set the video to direct stream copy and audio to MP3. You can batch convert or join multiple MP4 files to one Avi. The process is very fast since No video re-encoding is performed. The resulting Avi files will be reported as Xvid type (in VirtualDub or Avicodec). Burn to DVD. I tried MP4cam2Avi myself on Sanyo HD1 files and it works flawlessly.
