I own a tivo and dvd recorder. For a very long time now. The sound is so low running though it. When i record a dvd sometimes i can hear the sound and sometimes its so low. Does anyone know how i can fix this? For months i been trying to fix it. When i got the dvd recorder running and when its not on av the sound is fine. Some shows are lower than others i record.

Thats sounds very strange. I would check all connections, looking for loose wiring or connection that is not in correct position. You can fix the sound previously with Audacity. Freeware)

I just unpluged a rca cable. I know i had trouble at the start getting it to show on my tv the menu for the dvd record. Everything is hooked up fine. Could it maybe be my reca plugs i just have the yellow pluged in for the video. None of my friends heard of this before. I just wish it the sound wouldnt be so low.

I know its been a while since i posted on here for my post. I still havent fixed my problem for the sound. Its still coming out awful low. I aint using any rca cables for the sound. All im using is the yellow video plug to get the menu to show up on my tv for my recorder. I did switch my tivo audio to something else not dts. But it didnt fix my problem at all. If i buy a dts wire to hook up from the dvd recorder to my tivo do you think that will fix my sound problem? I have a samsung dvd recorder dvd-r120. Is this just samsung dvd recorders that have a problem? Or the way my dish wires are hooked up to the dvd recorder? I hope someone can help me out.
