    Hi im new to this forum and need some help getting my old home videos to my computer so i can edit and then put them into DVD. The problem is my computer is not detecting that my VCR is connected to it and hence i cant import it to my computer. What am I doing wrong?

    Hi, more information is needed. How are your connecting the VCR to the PC i.e capture card?
