Hi, I'm new in creating DVD-Video.
I would like to ask how to make a Dolby Digital and DTS DVD-Video. I want to make a reference test sound DVD (pink noise, sinus wave, sweep sine wave, etc) so it can be play on any DVD player. And I want to make the test sound can be allocate to every loudspeakers, only front, only rear, only LFE, etc. Thanks.

You need a multi-channel audio editor (Vegas, Nuendo) and an AC3 and DTS encoder, and a signal generator (probably one or more VST plugin).

You then need an authoring tool that will support both multi-channel AC3 and DTS authoring. DVD Lab Pro will support both. GUIForDVDAuthor might. Few others support DTS without spending a lot ($1000's) of money.

AC3 and DTS audio must either be on separate audio tracks, or on the same track but in separate titlesets (VTSs)

    Hi,

First I have some wav files from signal generator. Then mixing with Vegas or Nuendo. After that save as AC3 then burn in DVD?
I really have no clue about the method. Would you mind explain it?
    Thanks.
