No matter how many times and tools I have tried, AutoGk is the only tool I've found in years of trying that doesn't result in avi's with audio sync issues. I am converting a lot right now, and I tried Virtual Dub (et al), avi.net, dvd::rip..all with varying degrees of sync issues.
I am not smart enough to figure out what autogk is doing differently. Can somebody sum it up for me? I'd really like to be able to use other tools (especially dvd::rip).
Thanks!

Can't say why per say, but its the best tool for DVD to AVI.
If it is working for you nad giving you the results that you want, don't knock it!For the love of God, use hub/core labels on your Recordable Discs!
