  1. I have had pretty bad luck with store bought Legal DVD's sometimes they will freeze up(probably jsut a bad disk). I have also experienced this problem while making Copies of some movies(ASpider man 2, and Cowboy bebop were examples). For those 2( did not use DVD Decrypter, but rrather just let DVD Shrink look at the disk(that may have been my problem there) But anyway my question is. Is there a tool out there that will do a quick scan of the DVD to make sure that it plays flwlessly so I do not have to sit and watch the whole DVD at once jsut to check for errors?

    Thanks

Freeze on your standalone dvd player? Maybe time for a new player.

You can use Nero CD-DVD Speed or DVDInfoPro to scan dvds....but even if they report no error you can get playback errors on other dvd players.

  3. So even if these tools report a DVD to by ok, They might not play correctly on regular DVD Players?

What about on other DVD-Rom Drives?
