  1. Hey people first post here and have been a member since 2003 Ok my problem is trying to back up wedding crashers uncorked version. When I put the origonal disc in my dvd rom it will not register in my computer(usually you dont have to search for it just goes right into the decrypter) with dvd decrypter or the latest version of dvd fab decrypter it just says no disc in drive ,I"ve also tried wedding crashers in both of my stand alone dvd players and they work fine.I've been backing up movies for a while so I'm not a noob(not that theres anything wrong with that ) but this has got me stumped.I can put any other dvd in my dvd rom(original or backedup disc) with no problem it is just this one disc any help would be appreciated

Before you post, try a forum search. I found 34 posts using 'wedding crashers'. You don't need a new topic if it has already been covered.

In general, use a newer decrypter like RipIt4Me or the latest version of DVD Fab Decrypter if you can't decrypt the video for backup.

    And welcome to our forums.

Well I guess I should have put in my post that i looked at all 34 of those searches before i made this new thread and they didn't offer any help to my problem. As for your suggestion to use ripit4me and latest version of dvd fab decrypter,as I posted I did use the latest version of dvd fab decrypter and now I have also used ripit4me with no luck as I stated this is the only movie out of over 400 titles that has done this so I don't think it has anything to do with the software im using I just thought maybe someone has had this experiance and could help thanks again. And thank you for the welcome

Sounds like to me you got a trial disc of the wedding crashers that has a anti-scratch coating, AHHH it's a pain in the ass I know! Well you can correct that. Do you have a game doctor cd/dvd game repair device? Or memorex or phillips motorized disc repair device? If you dont have any of the repair devices that I mentioned then you should find the memorex motorized cd dvd repair at wal-mart. put the dvd in the repair device. make sure you use the chemical that it comes with in the box. This will remove the antiscratch coating that is on the disc. I know it sounds like bull crap but for some reason some dvd rom drives wont pick up on the disc. What happen when the laser starts scanning what is happening the laser beam scatters across the disc. So the laser is being reflected causeing read errors. This problem also happens with some cheep dvd players as well, but soon as you use any cd dvd repair device that removes a fine layer of plastic off the disc, then your good to copy and play any dvd player!

    Happy Cracking
