It has the Prada brand and ships in Europe in February.

Which is cooler for a high end consumer to own Prada or Apple?

The LG phone is 12 millimeters (0.47 inches) thick, just 0.4 millimeters (0.016 inches) more than the iPhone.

I'm afraid it doesn't cut it for Apple geeks. Huge mistake LG Some heads may roll...

I heard it's not going to be cheaper - i read somewhere that it's going to be around $700 - and not have the same exact things the iphone will have! You'll just be paying for the name "lg" and "prada"

The iphone price touted to date is with a 2 year commitment to Cingular.

The LG price is a retail price based on currency conversion. Expect US list price to be 20% below the European price (no VAT). No US carrier has yet signed with LG so we do not have a real US price with 2 year commitment to compare.

The iPhone is $500 with a 2 year contract. When you see the price for most phones they are the full retail price but you never actually pay that when you sign up for service. I've seen stuff saying the iPhone will be $1300 without contract.
