Couple of suggestions

1. To prevent spammers I'd like to suggest presenting links as plain text for a users first ten posts. Additionally may I also suggest you add the rel="nofollow" attribute to all links posted by members. Adding a statement to the fact that both of these have been implemented should cut down on all but the most persistent spammers. The second one is probably the most harsh as it removes any relevance to the link passed to it from this site.

2. Open internal links in the same window, I for one really hate new windows opening for links, however I find it useful on a forum where the link goes to an external site. Links to other pages in the forum IMO should open in the same window : http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=36536

3. Instant Post Redirect, makes the post immediately instead of the intermediate " Your message has been entered successfully " :
http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=425674 . I know there was a previous mod like this that didn't work for shit but this one I've been using without any issues that I'm aware of for a few months.

For 2 - I find "New Window" quite handy - Since I use FF and tabs - It just opens in a new tab. I suspect it works the same in IE7? I guess I wouldn't like it as much on IE6 or other non tabbed browser...

Maybe this would be better for nofollow? Has an option for x amount of posts and then the nofollow tag is removed. Legitimate posts will still get the PR passed as they should. I added something similar myself that allows me to specify what domains do not get the nofollow attribute but i can't find it at the moment and I'd imagine that would quite burdensome to you..

Rarely unless it's a few short words.

Opens up a whole new browser in IE7 unless there is an option somewhere.
