Hi, I converted my movie from avi to DVD with convertxtodvd i have also tryed it with Nero. The problem is when i play the DVD on both of my DVD players at home the movie laggs alot but when i play it on my laptop, brothers portable DVD or my friends dvd recorder it plays great.
Im not sure what to do, do i have to buy new dvd-Rs or i have to change some settings when im converting or burning? Both of my DVD players are 2 or 3 years old and my borhters DVD player is almost 5 years old, i burned the dvds with 4 and 6x speed. Now its up to you guys...![]()
Thank you for your help.

I don't know about the rest of them, but I have to work and this is just a hobby.
The easist thing to change is your DVD media and it is also the most common cause of problems. What DVD media are you presently using? 'Lagging' does sound like a media problem.
If you want to test your media a different way, try backing up a DVD with DVDShrink and see how that plays.
And welcome to our forums.
