    I have a digital camcorder which burns to DVD automatically. The output is a vob file which I can compress to AVI. However I have split the AVI into video and audio so that I could use Audacity on the WAV file which I have now done and converted that audio to mp3.

    How do I now remerge the split off video file (no sound) with the new mp3 audio file.

    Thanks in anticipation of your help.

    Load AVI in VirtualDubMod. Go to the stream list, disable the streams you don't want, add the stream(s) you do want.
    Save out as new AVI, with video set to direct stream copy.
