  1. Hi.

    I have one file, encoded in AVC codec/container.

    How can I extract the stream audio from it?

    And how can I conververt it to AVI/MP3 files?

    avc container?
    do you mean the Mpeg4 container?
    post info from mediainfo

    yamb can extract streams from .mp4.

    super is an easy way to convert to avi with xvid/mp3.
    there are better ways of course.

    I wanna demux/convert the audio in MP3 and AVI ( xvid/divx codecs).

    super is an easy way to convert to avi with xvid/mp3.
    there are better ways of course
    Any MORE advices, suggestions and programs that can handle this?

    if the direct show filters are there it will import,

    and if you have the vfw and acm codecs you need installed on your machine you can encode with them.
    Xpress 4 also has divx built in with profiles and outputs to the divx container, an advanced avi container.


    you can frameserve with avisynth.
    using directshowsource, or avcsource after running the elementary avc stream through dgavcindex.
    the you can use other programs to encode like vdubmod


    as long as your video is not vfr it's nothing too taxing
