can Nero and CDRDao coexist?

When I have Nero and CD easy creator together before, I had a problem:
after I ran CD creator, my Nero no longer worked. Before I try VCD easy
to burn CD, can some one tell me if using CDRDao through VCDeasy may mess up my Nero usage? thanks.

You will have absolutly no problem, actually most of the programs are caused because Adaptec doesn't like working with other programs, although you can make it work.

CDRDao doesn't install any ASPI, it just uses what you already have installed on the system (so make sure you got latest ASPI v4.6 Build 1021).

CDRDAO doesn't install any system files at all so it should have no interaction with Nero whatsoever.

thanks for the msgs. VCDEasy does not recognize my CD burner ( phillips 804W?). By instruction, seems I should get a new ASPI: ForceASPI or ASPIv4.6( where can I get the latter?). Are these ASPI safe to Nero? ( I have no idea whar ASPI is.)

ASPI is the communication layer between Windows and the devices attached, like CD/TAPE and other devices.

Having an updated ASPI Layer will not interupt your work with Nero, and will enable you to use programs such as CDRDao GUI's.

If you can't find ASPI installation on the net, let me know, and i'll email it to you.
