    Hello,

    Newbie post, longtime lurker.

Anyone know where I could get a blank video clip (no audio), about 30 sec worth. I need it for beginning and ending credits, etc. Dont have a vid cam anymore and dont know anyone around my local area who has a cam. I did have one, at some point but cannot find it.

    Thanks,

    Gerry

What editing software are you using? Why not just create a still frame and set the duration?

Sorry, Just remembered why I need blank video.... To use a fade in transition, into the first clip. With womble you cant do that.

A little tricky , but you can do this with dvdslideshowgui , but it depends on several things first , and what the required outcome is to be for the project .

    Wax2 as well , but that's another story on it's own .

Thanks, I'll try it out. I did just go ahead and use some intro clips from another video and set a fade transition then added a title for a couple secs, that seems to do the trick, for now. Will look into the dvdslideshowgui though, looks interesting.

    Thanks,

You can generate it in AviSynth with BlankClip internal filter, then encode to MPEG and use in Womble.

    BlankClip(length=3000, width=720, height=480, fps=29.97, color=$000000)
    #length is number of frames

ok, that sound fine, downloaded it, already had it, duh...but using it as is, scratching head. Do I just copy and paste above in a text file, then what?

tried doing the test.avs thing in Docs but wMP9 doesnt recognize it, and VLP plays but like 1 sec. (?)
