I would like to ask you about video presence detector.
I have a video switcher connected to microwave modulator, my switcher operator sometimes
"send" blank video from the switcher to the modulator, that can damage my microwave.
Can i use video presence detector so every time there's blank video it will automatically switch to the other input?

Some people says that it can, because there's still sync signal from the switcher, so any video processor will detect there's still video signal because the switcher still
outputing sync.
