anybody know anything about this camera,

i have been given one, that belonged to a very dear friend that has 'passed away'

luckily i have just about everything except a 'bag' & tripod

the camera, the manual and the power converter/charger/adapter box and 3 batteries and a box of tapes to sort through for possible transfer to DVD

I have the hardware and software for that function, I'm just seeking info and tips about the camera and equipment if anybody has any.
