So I've been trying to convert my vhs family movies to dvd's and so far I've been having a ton of problems. I either have a strange white line running through the video or constant flipping of the image. If I play the video it flips but once I rewind or fast foward it's steady.

How do I fix the problem or is their a place I could bring my video's and get them fixed?

    thanks

You would need to explain the method, hardware and software you used before anyone could give you much more than a guess.

I have found that my VHS tapes that have not been played for a while that the tape has shifted and are binding in the cassette so I always fast forward and rewind at least once if not twice to reduce the binding. Then I find my captures are better with less glitches. Sometimes the signal has deteriorated to the point that no clean copy can be made.

You need to find out and tell us the make and model of the VHS/DVD unit you are using.
