I have a Philips DVDR75...I was using DVD+RW to record a couple of things. I then edited it and then utilized "make edits compatible". Then I would hook up another DVD player to record it (with edits) onto a permanent DVDR.
After I did that, I erased the DVD+RW to reuse it. The machine erased it, allowed me to record new stuff onto the disc...but it only allow a one time record on the DVD+RW, won't allow me to edit it, won't let me add additional recordings on it, and it won't let me re-erase the disc.
What is going on???
ANy help is appreciated

I use my computer burner to erase the RW's from my DVDR985. I highly recommend it(if you have a burner that is).
