I scanned my driver with driver detect software. Because Preview video in Premiere pro and camtasita studio is NOT VERY smooth. It stop and start and stop and start repeatedly. I want to view smooth video ( In windows media player, it plays smoothly)

The result was video card is out of date. I use NVIDIA Vanta/vanta LT. I try to update, but it doesn't have update driver for my computer. What should I do??

    Try http://www.Guru3d.com

Your problem isn't your video card driver. Spend $100 and get yourself a better card.

I don't think your video card is really the problem. BTW, 7.1.8.9 seems to be the latest driver for that card.

Most video editors don't do that well at playback. It's mostly there for convenience. VirtualDub has the same problem with 'jumpy' video. You could replace the card, but there is no guarantee a new one will work any different.

As long as the video plays back properly in a regular software or settop player, you should not have a problem.

What kind of PC? What brand of CPU ? Intel P4? AMD Sempron ?

    You won't lose any data.

You DO have to find out if your motherboard is AGP or PCI-e
