    Hi all,
    I need buy a laptop for edit and composity and i don't have any idea about configuration.
    Which motherboard is ok, and video card, etc,etc.........
    well, iam completety newbie and just start with vegas and premiere and then (try) to do some fx with combustion.........i cant spend much money so a basic machine that suport those prograns is ok for me.
    Any kind of sugestion will be wellcome!!!!!

    Hi mafefa,

    The only things you really need to worry about are:

    1) Get a fast CPU.
    2) Get a decent amount of RAM - at least 1Gb.
    3) You may need a big hard-drive (250Gb or more), depending on what you're editing and how muh you want to store. You may consider an external hard-drive.

    Anything else, get the best you can afford.

  3. Vegas is less demanding on hardware than Premiere. Vegas will run on most anything you buy today.
