    Hello,
    I would like to encode my movie to *.mov with h.264 codec,
    clip has been just captured with winDV.
    Unfortunetely when I try to open this .avi using Quicktime Player (PRO ver.),
    picture has very poor quality. When I open the same file in AP, AE, VDub,
    Windows Media Player, etc. ... it looks normal. Only quicktime has problems
    with opening avi (DV format).
    Do you know any solution? Where is the reason?

    Maybe it just looks bad? if you convert a short clip to h264 does it also look like crap?
