Sorry if this has been answered somewhere before, but I have searched these forums for hours with no joy.
I have been having audio sync problems with divxs played back on a divx player. They are fine when I play them on my imac G5 10.3.9 in quicktime 7.0.3, but when I burn a few to dvd using toast 7.0.2 and play them back on divx dvd player, the audio goes out of sync. This doesn't happen on all the files, just some of them. I have checked the audio and it is 48,000.
I'm not sure if it's an issue with ffmpegx version w or the binaries for this version, but I don't recall having this problem with previous versions. I have just downloaded verion x, but not installed it yet, plus it uses the same binaries as the previous version, so it might not fix the problem.
Any help would be gratefully appreciated. Cheers

Ive had the same happen with my stand alone dvd player playing divx files etc....usually it starts in snyc with the video then gradually looses sync. I hit pause for a few secs and then play again and it puts it back in sync for some reason. If that doesnt work I fast a few frames then rewind and the sync problem usually fixes itself.
I have a no name brand dvd player that plays anything but sometimes i have to do it 3 or 4 times throughout a movie, which isnt too bigger deal.
Anyway, thats my thoughts!
Happy New year!wilson
