Converting DVD to Archos format

Well, I've spent about 100 bucks on programs that aren't helping me out. Xilisoft converter gives me choppy conversions and I have used every profile they list. When I change any of the parameters to customize the output, they are unreadable in my media players. AGK plays very nicely on my archos, but won't play in wmp 10. Tempgnc makes great WMVs but they take about 6 hours to produce.

I have 259 codecs listed on my computer. Why won't WMP 10 play my AGK xvid files? I have installed DIVX and XVID codecs. Media player 6.4 plays them fine.

After ripping DVD, use Nero Recode to convert to a NERO DIGITAL FILE. (2 pass).

I think its actually an xvid, so it plays fine on my archos. Looks great actually. however, yiou have to convert the audio to mp3. Use MP4Cam2AVI to do this. Since it only converts audio, its pretty quick.
