Hey I cant remember where I read this in the manual but supposedly there is a way to change the quality of somethign you recorded on to your hard drive. Like lets say I recorded something at MN 16 in other words 120 min setting. Not lets say the record time ended up being 150 minutes for the basketball game I taped. From what I remember, there was a way to alter the quality. Like for instance in this case I would want to make it so the quality became spreaded out to 150 minutes so I could fit it all onto one disc instead of two. Alright...listening to me right now...its I sound nuts....but I hope you guys understand me. Could someone tell me how to do this...and by doing this...will I really get the quality of 150 min setting....or is it going to actually look worse than what it is stated as because I ended up altering the speed after i recorded it. Thanks for any help that anyone can provide. Have a good new years.

Set the recorder for the 150-minute setting and do a real-time copy from the hard drive to DVD. Read the manual on how to do a one-touch copy. It may have slightly less quality than if you had recorded at the 150-minute setting in the first place, but it still will look good. In any case you'll still have the 120-minute version to compare it to, so if you don't like it you can choose the 2-disc burn instead.
