Well at least Ive tired to. I play this game called Halo 2 and I was hoping to make a compilation of some of my all time best games. However, I noticed when I connect the Xbox though the DVR the game totally feels laggy. Now keep in mind Im not playing online at all, but it always feels as though the DVR can not keep up will all the graphics and data that is being feed through it. Is there any cables I could use been the Xbox and the DVR to make it smoother.
Also when comparing component wires to S-video when recording sports games, is there going to be that much of a quality difference if the tv I am recording off of is getting an analog feed and not a digital one like down stairs. At least I dont think it is...it doesnt have a digitial box like the one down stairs where I get a bunch of bonus channels. Although I do notice that WGN is coming in a lot better than before getting digital cable down stairs so I dont know for sure I guess. There is definitely no digital receiver up stairs though, thats for certain.
