You may want to consider going with a less expensive motherboard than that since socket 939 will be phased out in favor of AM2,and upgrade your memory to a minimum of 1 GB. 512 just really isn't enough nowadays for XP and certainly won't be if you ever consider Vista.

    Just my2 cents

...Okay; so that's what I've got so far; I decided to decline that recc. because of my suuupper tight budget; and also; I'm running XP on an old HP Pavilion w/ 500 mhz processor; 192 mb RAM w/ integrated graphics;....so I don't think this would be a bad thing to move to.....and as for AM2; by the time that's switched over with AMD; I'll have a good job and already be ready to build a whole 'nother computer....so I don't find me going w/ socket 939 THAT bad.....even though AM2's a good idea; it's just not in my budget....[sorry...]

...but; ne ways; I was just wondering now if anyone could give a good reccomendation on a psu and case for <$90 Now; I know that's not a good price ranger for psu + case; but hey, im on a budget.......

...although; I have heard good things about these $50 psu's put out by a company called ePower......so give them a look and tell me if you think that's a good choice.....here's the link of the one I was looking at....

    URL: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16817101021

P.s. ^does that psu have all the proper connectors for powering all my components??? or do I need to find a different one??? [because I didn't see this mention any thing about being able to power my IDE dvd burner...so I'd like you to double check for me on that.....Thx]^
