I am trying to encode a xvid avi video and its subtitle but the program closes by itself when its at the 10+ mins mark. No error message was display and i wonder if there is a fix for this?

I have no time or respect for DVDSanta, so it doesn't surprise me that this is happening. The two most likely causes are corruption in the file, which may not be an issue for playback, but can be a problem for encoding, and VBR MP3 audio.

For corruption you can try one fo the Divxfix type programs, but they usually only address a small number of issues.Read my blog here.

I paid for that program with lifetime.
It's very picky. I wouldnt use it.
Author does nothing about it.
