DVD does not play more than 11 video clips

I need badly an advice from you.
I burned a DVD-R with video clips. I put 24 video clips burned at Long Play/Progressive/High-Quality 2-pass VBR/LPCM settings in my NeroVision Express 3.
I am using a Plextor PX-716A, Verbatim DVD-R 4.7/16X/120min video media. Settings in Nero are set to fit the DVD.
Actually, before burning, the software shows about 1.1GB of free space left on DVD. On the DVD you can see the empty space. The file burnt on DVD is in TS VIDEO folder and it works fine on the PC. I can see all the video clips and it does not stop.
When I play it, I am using a Samsung DVD player DVD-P421. It is not great but is decent. After 11 clips, it stops and if I try to play the next one, it refuses the command. If I go into the menu, it shows all the 24 videos and if I try to play any of them from 12 up, it refuses to play.
Please help ! I am trying to make a present to somebody dear tonight and I cannot figure out what the problem is.

NERO sucks at anything DVD related other than DATA DVD burning.

You need to learn other method of conversion and authoring.
