    guys i am using tmpgenc author, express and editor to try to burn them it will burn to dvd-rw but wont play in my home dvd what am i doing wrong can someone help me with the steps to help to allow me to do this. I thought i knew what i was doing but now i am not sure a little bit frustrated to cant figure out why they wont play can anyone help thanks.

    might just be that the player won't play dvd-rw. most that i've tried don't. try dvd-r or dvd+r bitset to dvd-rom for max compatiblility.

    Are you burning them as DVD Video ?
    What software are you burning with ?

    FWIW, I have used -RW since I began authoring, and haven't hit a player yet that would not read DVD video from them. Not all will read data discs burned to -RW.
