Hi, I am buring a dvd series Briscoe County Jr. It's 8 discs. I'm on disc #6. After I ripped it and made it an ISO with dvd shrink, I used dvd decrypter to burn it to a disc, but it gets stuck at 20% and says there is an I/O error.

After that, I dled and installed DVD43 and kept it running in the background. This time, the dvd finished burning without a problem, but won't play in my DVD player. It just says No Disc.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Try using dvddecrypter iso read and iso write instead of using dvdshrink in the process to create and burn iso. BTW dvddecrypter doesn't actually burn but uses Nero or other burning program. If that fails, try DVDFabDecrypter which works for some instances where dvddecrypter fails.

    DVDDecrypter does most certainly burn.

I would recommend either DVDFab Decrypter or RipIt4Me and DVD Shrink, then burn with ImgBurn. The latest versions of each should be able to handle almost any DVD ripping for backup. There is also a modified version of Shrink that can use RipIt4Me>DVD Shrink>ImgBurn and burn automatically. All freeware too: http://forum.digital-digest.com/showthread.php?t=63869
