I am currently trying to use the Olevia 532H with my PC which is using a ATI All-in-Wonder 8500 DV video card.
I was previously using a DVI to VGA adapter and connecting to the monitor via VGA, which worked fine.
Now I am using a DVI to HDMI cable which also works fine when I boot up, but any time I switch inputs or turn off the monitor, the monitor cannot pick up the signal from the PC again. I have to disconnect the DVI end from my PC and reconnect it in order to see an image.
I read that for monitors to do this the output signal has to be the same as the monitor's native resolution, which in this case is 1360x768, which it is. This is also the resolution I use on my Macbook Pro to connect to the monitor and I can switch inputs and come back to HDMI and see an image without reconnecting the DVI on the PC end. However, when I use other resolutions on my Macbook Pro, I am not able to do the switch.
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks,
Dave
edit: solved with driver update
