I am trying to capture video from a DVR cable terminal. The system requires me to use an RF modulator to get a picture from the DVR to the TV. I can't record from the dvr to my dvd player. Can anyone help?

Then you can record from your DVR to your DVD Recorder, assuming no Copy Protection is present. Ideally you would have the DVD Recorder's outputs connected to your TV (might need that RF modulator after all!).
EDIT: Of course the signal you send from the DVR must be 480i for it to be accepted by your DVD Recorder.
