Hi, I have three MPEG files that I want to convert to MPEG2 and then author a DVD with. But I have a couple problems. First, the aspect ratio of the MPEG files is really weird. It is stretched horizontally, but I don't think it is 16:9. Anyway, I want to get them to 4:3, so how should I do that? Also, what is the best way to convert MPEG1 to MPEG2? Will TMPGenc work fine for this? Thanks!

Load your MPEG file into VirtualDubMod and then use the option called, "Snapshot source frame" to save an image from a frame to a graphic file. You can save as a PNG file then load the image here. Make sure you pick a good clear frame that isn't overly dark nor overly bright.
Also load the MPEG file into GSpot and then take a snapshot of that and load it here.
For more information on how to do this read this link: CLICK HERE
That link will explain how to make a screenshot from GSpot and how to load that into a post along with your image saved out of VirtualDubMod of the actual video.
I or anyone else will need this information in order to give you any proper advice.
