I'm just new here but i'm sorry that I can't even understand how to begin authoring my own anime dvd. i just got a little confuse reading other posts so i made my own and i'm begging you guys to teach me how to make a re-authored DVD. thanks

i just bought an LG 18x super Multi DVD Rewriter from a retail store this morning and i got excited that i thought making a DVD is as easy as 1-2-3. i spent 5 hours on my computer trying to figure out how can i fit 10 anime episodes (est 24:30 mins = 170MB per episode avi file) on a 4.7gb dvd (-) r and add a background picture/music on the main menu and create links like "play all" and "episodes/chapters" (1st page) and then thumbnails of each episode will appear after clicking "episodes/chapters" or the video will play automatically when i clicked on "play all"

i also downloaded some few dvd creators but it can only fit up to 4 videos and i'm expecting that since my dvdr's 4.7gb, it can fit up to 20max

guys please help me here on this issue since i got excited a while i go and i lost my excitement after 5 hrs of getting insane infront of my computer. i admit that im not a pro multimedia/techy person but i can follow steps easily. it's like teaching me "dvd authoring lesson 101" or "dvd authoring for dummies". pictures/screenshots/images can bring a lot of help

and also can you pls tell me what softwares (preferably free version) can i download author a dvd or some few things to need

thank you very much... i will appreciate your help!

    1. Convert each episode to dvd mpg using a mpeg encoder like tmpgenc xpress, set the output file size in the wizard mode so all episodes will fit on one dvd. Or use convertxtodvd, add all avis and convert.
    2. Import the mpgs or the video_ts folder from convertxtodvd in a dvd authoring tool like tmpgenc dvd author or dvd-lab to make menus, playall, chapters and such.
