viao laptop... i've tried bringing svcd2dvd up with no luck whatsoever - will i need to re-purchase it or request a new dl or what? its been running so well for so long im out of the
loop kinda and do not know the procedure to solve this... i sent CB a pm last nite but im sure he has better things to do with his free time - so would someone point me in the right direction?

  2. Why not just do a reinstall?

  3. talk about not being able to see the forest for the trees...
i located the dir with ver.2.1 and installed it,no probs...
when i started it up, a little screen popped up and ask for my machine licence number... that bit of info was in my outlook
from my destroyed desktop, and ive tried to recover a whole lot more (passwords, addresses etc) without success... my email addy hasnt changed at all, but im at a loss on what to do about
the license... other than ask nicely/beg on my knees for a replacement...

  4. Your machine license number changed due to the new machine, what you need is your registration number, usually a reinstall picks that up from the install directory (did you try installing to the same location?) or the registry (yes, I know that's gone).

Since you PMed ChrissyBoy, I'm sure it will get sorted as soon as possible.
