    whats the difference between divx and divx avi. ? i have some divx movies i made with akg, and they play fine in my wmp...but the divx made using dr divx do not play in wmp. why is that?...i see in the akg, under " advanced " tab there is a option for avi. what sets the 2 divxs apart?
    ..........and what is a wrapper ?

    You mean .divx file and .avi file? They are different so called containers for video and audio, .divx has some other features like menu,subtitles, chapters supports. Play .divx with the divx player from www.divx.com . It might also work to just rename the .divx to .avi.

    I thought the .divx container was just the .AVI container with the DivX 6 additions hacked into it (though DivX was using .AVIs renamed as .divx even before DivX6 was introduced)?
    If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them?
