  1. For the past 5 yrs I have used Ritek (Ridata) DVD-R 9.4GB media (g02-g04) for my double-sided media needs. These discs worked nearly perfectly! I would say I've burned over 1,000 and have only had about 8-10 coasters. Now suddenly I can't find anymore double-sided Ritek DVD-R 9.4GB media anywhere! I don't know what brands are still out there, that work as good as the Riteks. I certainly won't buy the Verbatim double-sided discs because I've seen them listed for over $200 for 40. While someone may want to spend that kind of money on them, I was more than happy spending $36 for 50 Riteks in bulk! Now I have no idea what other brands are out there that can give me the same kind of reliability as the Ridata did. I have gotten used to the deep purple dye of the Riteks, and when I've used other brands with lighter dyes, I've had plenty of failures. I can't believe Ritek simply retired their double-sided DVD-R recordables, but I can't find any dealers selling them in bulk anywhere! Can someone please recommend to me the best double-sided 9.4GB recordable DVD-R discs out there (that's as affordable as the Riteks were)? Thank you!

Meh i'd never use Double-sided discs. I'd rather spend more for Dual-layer DVD-Rs(to put 2 DVD-5's to one) than resort to double-sided.

    But thats just me.

Yes but I own alot of movies that were done on double-sided DVD 5s. Since I have a DVD jukebox that flips the disc, I'd like to back these discs up in their original form.
