I have used TMPGEnc my whole life and it's always worked amazingly. Recently, though, I've encountered a really annoying and ultimately a REAL BAD PROBLEM. When I try to load any of my big DiVX movies the program ALWAYS says that the movie "cannot open, or unsupported." I have a big 60gb HD so I know I have enough room. I've tried every version of the program from 12b to 2.02. Nothing will work. It will load an ordinary BMP file so I know the program works. Can someone tell me why my 700mb DiVX movies that used to load DO NOT WORK ANYMORE IN TMPGEnc! Thanks soooo much!

Hi,
D/L and install the Nimo Codecs, I think it's on the Tools page, solved same issues for me.

Try this for cannot open or unsupported error:
Open TMPGenc
Options
Environmental settings
VFAPI plug in
and set Direct show multimedia file reader to priority 5 by right clicking on it.
Worked for me.
