There is an Italian website/TV company that puts up all it's programs online for sort of an OnDemand/Archive type thing

The site is http://www.raiclicktv.it . Does anyone know if there is some way to download the actual file being played (it's like a windows media player that's embedded in the page) Or would I have to do some sort of video capture thing. Thanks

(here is a link example to an actual program http://www.raiclicktv.it/raiclickpc/secure/streamHome.srv?id=7843&idCnt=42895&path=RaiClickWe b^Top+Ten )

  2. Try SDP: http://sdp.ppona.com/

Right click on the video that's playing, select Properties, copy the mms:// URL to the clipboard, paste it into SDP. For example, the video you linked to was

    mms://media.fastweb.it/WM9/raiclick/FMVRAI04000001072496.wmv?idCnt=42895&path=RaiClick Web^Top+Ten

Sweet, that did work, thanks a lot for that.

It saved as a .asf file, which works with Windows Media Player, but I would probably have to convert it if I wanted to put it on a DVD to bring to my italian speaking grandparents right? I googled a asf to dvd conversion, and they used super dvd creator, which both converts and burns it. Nero came with my burner, anyone know if that does naything like that? Thanks again

EDIT: Nevermind, found out Nero did it. The Nero that came with my burner is sweet, also automatically does the encoding for .avi ALOT faster and with same to better quality than TMPeg (what I was using earlier), and very user friendly, with creating menus and chapters and all that good stuff, very sweet. Thanks again for the help/info on the program above!
